Worst Weekend Ever

This weekend in the city of Philadelphia was the worst because of the demise of the Phillies and the Eagles seasons. The Phillies lost in the first round of the playoffs and that just sums it up for the 102 win season. They had it all locked but they choked plan and simple. Can't score runs and win and that's gonna be a problem for years in my mind. The eagles on the other hand what a joke they are. Some "Dream Team"  they turned out to be. No defense, a fat shit for a coach, Michael Vick getting killed and throwing picks, and lastly just no desire. We are gonna expect a lot of rebuild time if we don't make those necessary changes.

Phillies End of Season

The Phillies season is dwindling to a mere 17 games and that means only one thing; Playoff time! The season has been nothing but perfect for the Phillies and the city of Philadelphia with all the additions, impact returns such as Chase Utley, and just the awe of the World Series being ours for the taking how can the team and city not be ecstatic. I am one of the ecstatic fans and I can't wait for the playoffs and the championship the city and myself have been thriving for. If the Phillies pull it off the city will go crazier then they did in 2008. One city, one team, one dream is the saying I'm living by till we meet our goal and take what's rightfully ours.

Phillies Dream Season

The Philadelphia Phillies are on a dream run this season and are favored to win the World Series by most cities in the country. They have had a few defects before the adding of Hunter Pence to our lineup in late July. Before Pence our lineup was missing a key slot, but with Pence here we will be in top shape come playoff time. The Phillies pitching, however is beyond perfect this season with aces Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, and Cole Hamels leading the campaign. The pitching is believed to go down in history as one of the greatest rotations in history because of the spectacular stats they have produced this season. Though it is only september right now and the playoffs are still a month away I feel the Phillies are without a doubt going to cruise through the entire NL division and win the World Series when that time will come. I can't wait for a parade down on Broad St. just like back in 2008 when the Phillies won then. I will leave this on a high note and a chant to lives through all of Philadelphia and the chant is "Go Phillies."
